Where can I buy waterproof sunscreen contains Zinc Oxide?

Question

Does anyone know what kind of Sunscreen has Zinc Oxide and are waterproof and what stores carry them? I asked a similar questions earlier and was given some internet links, but I really would like to find a real store at this point. I live in South California, what stores can I find such sunscreen?

Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide in it is HARD to find. Rite Aid carries a product by Solar Sense called Clear Zinc. It's a continuous spray sunscreen spf 45 and the only one with Zinc Oxide. Wegmans also has an spf 50 zinc oxide face sunscreen...and if you don't mind spending the money for it.....almost all of Clinique's Sun Care products contain Zinc Oxide. I'm glad you asked this question, because it took me a while to find one that had it....it took A LOT of shopping around. People make it seem like it's so easy to find, but if you actually sit in the isle where the sunscreen is located you'll find that there are only around 3 products total in the stores that actually contain zinc oxide. It's strange, because Zinc Oxide and Avobenzone are, as far as I know, the only two FDA approved sunscreen ingredients.

A less expensive alternative is regular spf 50. Then buy a tube of diaper rash preventative. Its almost 100% ZnO2 and its about $2 a tube (Desitin I think is the name of it).

Almost every sunscreen has zinc oxide in it. Just look at the back of the bottle. Every store- Wal-Mart, KMart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. As I said, it's almost impossible to find sunscreen that doesn't.
