Where can I cash coins in for free?

I've went through my house and gathered a bunch of spare change ($73.89) and I want to cash it in but I don't want to waste the counting charge at a coinstar.

do you know of any coin machines that cash for free?

The bank is about the only place I know of.   You can also simply spend the value in stores.   They take coins just as much as dollars.

banks used to do it for free if you had an account there. that is only alternative i can think of.

Take them to the bank. First roll the coins up in paper rolls that you can buy very cheaply at Wal-Mart, etc. or even possibly get for free from your bank, and then take the coins to your bank counter and get cash or deposit the money into your account.
