Me and my cousin are three days apart and plan to have our 17th bday together except we dnt know what we want to do. We went out to the club the other day and thought maybe we could have it there in a v.i.p section like we did a few days ago but our friends would have problems geting in. So we need another plan. We want something with music where we can dance and have a good time with our family. Any thoughts on what we can do???

  1. I like Sidney W's idea of making your own club - but maybe at home. You could have one of your friends be the bouncer, and they'd have to answer an easy question to get past the ropes :D Make your own VIP section with a patio table and chairs. Put up Christmas lights and yard spotlights from Christmas.

But since you have the money to have it at a club, you'll probably want to contact a local hotel and rent out a function room. The last time I hired a DJ, the cheapest ones were $100 an hour. If you really want a club feel, you'll have to spend more money than that in order to get a DJ with a club light setup.

  2. dave & busters

  3. Ask around at Hotels and rent their banquet room. You don't have to hire a dj... just burn cd's with your favorite music... you could make it look like a club and You could name it "Club (your name)". It woul be really fun and still give you that Club feel... or you can hire a dj for the full effect!!!! Have fun and happy birthday to both of you!!!!!!!

  4. You can rent out the roller rink...... or you could just rent a gazebo in a park somewhere, and hire a dj, or bring some speakers and your ipod.
