Question:

Where can I change Seychelles Rupees back into Stirling?

I have been to different banks and they all say the same thing, that the currency can't be changed back into Stirling...why? It's worth around £50 . I suppose I could always go back to the Seychelles and spend it there but that's a bit drastic for £50.

  1. I don't think you will be able to do it.  Something about currency exchange rules.  It must be similar to Morocco whereby you are not supposed to bring the currency out of the country.

  2. Two suggestions.

    1. You give your details to a travel agent and say that if anyone books to go to the Seychelles you are willing to sell your Rupees at an advantageous rate.

    2. You give to these people as part of your charitable giving. They operate in the Seychelles.
