  1. A bank.

  2. As far as I am aware you can only exchange bank notes not coins so you are stuck with them until your next trip into mainland Europe

  3. you could phone your bank they might beable to help.

if not one place alone might not take that much so go to your nearest town/city and split it in to 50 euro bundles and go into different places.

or what you could do is find out if any one you know is going into "euroland" and sell them

  4. A bank or  foreign exchange desk  in travel agents or some supermarkets...

  5. You could also try a coin dealer, as my nickname suggests I am a coin dealer and I am always glad to get foreign coins and with the Euro coins I give a comparable rate to that of banks. It is a good way for me to build my stock levels and also those coins I do not wish to keep I sell again to tourists going overseas to those countries at a slight discount.

  6. Coins. I know no place that will exchange coins. You best bet is to get them into notes somehow. Maybe going to Dublin and going into a bank to change them into euro notes and then back in Blighty and popping into Thmas Cook?

  7. Go to a Travel agents e.g. co-op travel or a main post office

  8. I think you can only change notes in the the UK.You can donate them to some Charity's take foreign currency's as a way of raising money
