  1. Here lies the biggest problem we have CHARITY STARTS AT HOME, no one seems to get that. we as the strongest nation should hang our head in shame. We choose to take on charities for third world countries and underprivaleged people overseas, when we ingnore whats on our doorstep. Why do we do this?.....So we look like the nation that come to the rescue...............well shame on us for using a pr ploy to encratiate our self as a nation! Let us look instead at homelessness, uninsured, uneducated, undereducated, and the crime rate that happens on a daily basis!

  2. Bikes -- and clothes and school supplies and anything else -- are extremely expensive to ship to other countries, which is why most organizations ask for donations so that they can buy from distributors in or near the country (that also helps local people who are trying to sell bikes or whatever not get put out of business by your donation).

That said, try the International Bicycle Fund

IBF, or the sites it links to, may have some advice for you.

  3. You can donate the bike but, they won't ship out to another country

  4. there are lots of poor children in the country in which you reside. why do you feel your bicycle will be best used if it is shipped overseas? Instead of searching for some obscure company that will ship your donated goods across an ocean, take the easy route and make the dreams of a child near you come true. at least 20% of the children in this country live in poverty, maybe you can give to them.
