  1. I won't be judgmental about why you would get rid of them like some of these other people. I understand that some pets are just more than you bargained for, and rabbits can be difficult to care for. But please don't take them to a shelter. People don't usually go to shelters to look for small animals, and they will just be euthanized, or worse, end up as dinner for someone's pet snake! There may be a rabbit rescue organization in your area, or a teacher might want them for his/her classroom. You could put an ad up at the vet's office.

  2. Well, if you have a good reason to not be able to care for the anymore I suggest finding a no kill shelter that will take them in bur it's not their responsibility to take care of poor bunnies that you just THROW OUT!, It's your fault that these bunnies may be euthanized, because you can't, or don't want to care for them anymore.

We all make mistakes, but next time use your head and consider what the costs, cons/pros, benefits, and negatives, you'll have with the animal before you get it. You may be costing these bunnies their lives, and I really hope you change your mind and keep them, because it's cruel to bring home an animal ,care for it while it's cute, then throw it out once it's an adult ,and the children lose interest.

No matter how many people give me a thumbs down, I know everyone agrees with me.

Be responsible next time, and consider the animal before you take it in.

You may be costign them their lives.

Not to mention your teaching your kids, that an animal is an Item ,and as soo nas your sick of it, throw it out and get a new one. You know, I hate people like that, and if you happen to be one of them, shame on you, you don't deserve the children either, you'll probably kick them out, once you get sick of them too!

    Next time, think twice. -.-

  3. Check out your local 4h office.  Generally there's a rabbit club where kids would be more than happy to give them a good home.  Do you happen to know which breed they are?

  4. they are animals not toys you can give them away but that's not fair to the animal put an add on www.craigslist.org and see if you get any offers if not then maybe but first you at least have to try to give them a chance with another good family

  5. let em go in a forest with low-lying brush.

  6. I hate the idea of ''donating'' your pet to a shelter. It's an animal, NOT a donation! You're surrendering the animal.

Anyways, check on Petfinder.com to see if there is a local rabbit rescue that can help.

Why did you get rabbits if you cannot have them only 3 months later? Not good for the rabbits, and not a good thing to teach your kids (pets are disposable?)
