  1. limewire

  2. limwire doesnt give you viruses but frostwire is one thing

  3. These websites work really well mp3raid.com, seekasong.com, and beemp3.com.

  4. www.spiralfrog.com

You have to make and account to download music.

  5. The easiest ways are downloading sites like limewire however those sites are illegal and i wouldn't risk getting sued but if you want to risk it try limewire and crockster

P.S those sites are getting shut down fast so if your gonna use them use them now

  6. Well if you get onto myspace...and you click on the music tab...it will take you to the music section, where you can  search different artists..and a lot of times, if you click on the non official pages that users have made, they will have songs available for download.  It may take a little more time to actually find the music that you want, but its free and you don't have to download any programs to your computer, nor do you even have to be a part of myspace...give it a try!

  7. I actually get my free MP3s from www.playlist.com (because I'm scared of limewire too).

There's a huge search bar at the main page; just type in the artist and/or track title you want and search results should show up (unless you're searching a super obscure underground band from Finland or something).

Two types of results can show up; MP3s posted in blogs, and MP3s embedded in websites.

If it's an MP3 posted in a blog, there should be a link that says "read original post". Click on it, then find the link for the MP3, right click it, select "Save Link As" (this is what it's called in Firefox, it should be a similar name in Internet Explorer), name the file what you want, and then press "Save".

If it's an MP3 embedded in a blog, click "(visit site)". Now, at the top frame portion it says "Search Result Location:" and a URL should follow. Usually, the URL should end in ".mp3". Copy the URL into the, um, URL bar (and press the "enter" key), then hopefully you have an information box that pops up asking for you to save the file. If not, and a quicktime player pops up, you'll have to do more work...(I'm a bit lazy to write out all the steps, you can search "how to download embedded MP3" on Google and it should help you. I must say FIREFOX browser is the answer to embedded files).
