Where can I drive really fast?

Does anyone know of a place in Southern Califronia where I can go really fast, kinda like just gun it as fast as my car can go, somewhere that i'm allowed.

The only place you can go as fast as you want to go is in Germany on the autobaun i took my rx7 on it a few years back and OMG 159 miles an hour. it's only a 1.3 with no upgrades. and if your really carefull go out to the salt flats out at death valley, they hold events there sometimes and you can go for miles and miles

You should go to a high performance driving event at buttonwillow or willow springs.  Racetracks are pretty much the only places you are allowed to drive as fast as you can.

race track or a country road......no not really country road cuz the aint never in a good shape n u goin crash

On a race track if your old enough if not you will have to wait

With the racetrack idea, I'm pretty sure you'd have to get some sort of ametuer's permit to race on the track (usual safety garb)

-and you'll need a helmet!

You could put it on a dyno and close your eye's.

It's not the same though, as say finding a long stretch of straight road real early in the morning and gunning it.

You'll need two lanes as your car will tend to "float" a bit at top speed.
