  1. This is maybe a little risky, but you could try a restaurant from a country whose food neither of you have ever eaten before.  Kind of like an adventure together.  Then again, if this is a first date, maybe wait until at least the third date for this one :)

My suggestions would be Indian, Ethiopian, Thai, Russian, or Cajun (yes I know the last isn't a country!) if you haven't had them before.  I love them all, but the first two are kind of "you either love it or you hate it".  Not to generalize, but at a Russian or Ethiopian restaurant expect the service to be ridiculously slow, but that's fine since it gives you more time to talk.

But a nice little non-chain Italian restaurant is always a safe bet, even if it is a little cliche'.

  2. You don't have a hole in the wall type restaurant you go to?

Someplace you know the menu, the waitstaff, someplace you're a 'regular' at, this will put you at ease, and your date will appreciate not going someplace that they can go with their friends, all the freaking time.

  3. Applebee's

    Firefly's

    Uno's

Rotisserie Grill <- It's by Boston Market

    Naked Fish

    TGI Friday's

    99 Steakhouse

    Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse

    Outback Steakhouse

    Olive Garden

    Bertucci's

  4. well it depends on what kind of food you both like to eat....

I would say go to a sushi place.

I see alot of people go there on dates and have a really nice time.

  5. olive garden

    chachina tagliani(spell check)

    melting pot

    benihannas

    cheesecake factory

  6. That all depends what your favorite food is. if this is your first date with the young man, try not to pick a place to expensive.  Stay away from fast food places, some place quite where the two of you can converse and be alone.   Myself I prefer a Chinese Restaurant  with a food bar, all you can eat for one price.

  7. You can eat at red lobster, applebees, olive gardens, you choose

  8. Japanese.  It a great place to go to eat on dates for several reason.  You get entertainment b/c they cook right in front of you and that takes a lot away from the awkward silences.  Then, most likely you will sharing a table to a couple other people and  you can make group conversation.  Plus, the food is awesome....

  9. go to subway and eat fresh!

  10. Olive Garden (:

  11. Olive Garden or Red Lobster is a good place

  12. Outback

  13. It depends on what you like and where your at, and whats your budget.

Go to yelp, it's a good website to check out restaurants.

  14. An place where they serve a variety of normal food, like Friday's, is general, but Italian food is good too. If you want to be daring you can go to a Mexican or Japanese restaurant, but only go if you know he likes that type of food. Or it can be a place that is simply at a nice location.

  15. I would say Texas Road House. It's like Logan's but a lot cleaner. I mean they don't throw peanuts on the floor, they are also real loud. There is this new place near me called Red Robin's I don't know if you have one of those but it serves the best of food! Choose a place where he can eat steak, if he chooses.

  16. You can eat off his stomach, chest of his fingers, personally i would use a plate.

But seriously, i would choose an Italian as they tend to have ambient light, be a little more private and quiet, past dishes are good also, pizza can be a bit messy if you want to impress but don't go near SPAGHETTI unless you want to spray sauce every where.

    Good luck on the date.

  17. The Melting Pot. It is fondue, so it can help if conversation lulls, you can talk about what you guys are doing (cooking food). Plus it is AWESOME!!!
