  1. The Eagle Bar and Diner in Soho is a New York style venue serving up a selection of dishes in a lively, upbeat atmosphere. With pancakes on the menu during the day and cocktails in the evening its well worth a try.

  2. Dutch pancakes are more like crepes and are not American pancakes.  As a US expat living in London, I know it's very hard to find real American-style breakfast in London.   The closest I've come is Lucky Seven in Westbourne Park, but last time I went the pancakes were a disappointment - they were burned on one side and lacked that buttermilk "fluffiness."

No muffins or waffles, but the egg dishes were good, and the decor is definitely American roadside diner.

  3. U can get them from tesco

  4. now thats one place i have not seen in london

  5. HAVE you got an "OK Diner" near you?

    try their pancake's

  6. My Old Dutch pancake house in Holborn.... it's very near the station, on High Holborn ^__^

  7. If you drive, there's Starvin Marvin's on the a40 (nearest tube Perivale). It is a US style diner in a silver trailer.

In central London, there is a place in Clerkenwell called Hollywoods- a 24hr American Diner. It is up from Smithfield Market. Nearest tubes are Farringdon or St Pauls.

  8. not american but pancakes -
