Also, in the US, some of our drugstore chains (Walgreens Osco CVS) have a service where you use the internet to download the images, do editing and cropping and add special features from their site online, then go to pick them up in person, all printed and ready to go, from your neighborhood location.  See if your franchises might offer the same service.
