Where can I find A.C. for a room with no windows?

I rent a room in a house that has no windows and only one door that leads to a hallway. The halway doesn't lead to any nearby windows or doors to outside either. I've been told by people in a few stores that there isn't such an A.C. that can cool a room like this without filtering out the heat somewhere. But its 2008! does anyone have any info or suggestions?

It doesn't matter what year it is, the laws of physics are unchanged.  The only way to cool a room like that would be to cut a hole in the wall and put the AC unit through it, much the same as if the room had a window.  You want to displace the hot air and you have to have somewhere for it to go.  You also have to have somewhere for the condensation to go.

Do a search for "portable evaporative cooler". Most on the market are basically more like portable swamp coolers rather than "true A.C."  You gotta' put water into them manually. Kinda lame I know, but at least filtering out the heat will not be an issue.

Yes you can use a portable AC unit! They work very well. I had one in my office. I just had to empty the condensation tray periodically. This link explains your options.
