Where can I find College Football Team Rosters from the 1970's or the 1980's?

There is a man that is helping to coach my son's 8 year old football team who claims to have played for the University of Pittsburgh. My husband also coaches and he and the other coaches have begun to notice that he has no idea what he is doing and are worried that he is teaching the kids to do everything all wrong. They are beginning to question his claim of playing college football and I have been trying to find a roster on the internet but haven't been successful. .

just google the mans name, and sift through all the choices then click on the correct one

Maybe best to go straight to the Panthers website, I'm sure they have some sort of archive in which you can find out. Hope this helps.

And what is this guys name? I grew up in Johnstown in the 70s and 80s which is about 40 minutes aways from Pittsburgh so if he played i might have heard of him

If he played for Pitt it is no wonder he doesn't know what he is doing.
