Where can I find Mics for the computer?

Question

I want to but a microphone so I can talk to my friends. But I dont know where to get them.

Im looking for like a chep one but good quality one. I dont really want the camera so the friends can see me but just the microphone so they can hear me.

If anyne knows plz tell me. :)

Wall mart has quite a few for $20.00 and less.

most supermarkets, catlouge stores, Pc stores and electronics stores.

For good quality look for a Skype Certified headset ( thoug sometiems been skype certified can add a bit of cost to the headset)

£10/$20 shoudl be enough for a decent headset, try to get one wiht inline mic on/off and volume control, tehy are worth there wieght in gold, my current headset has neither and it is really annoying

a good idea would be to go to walmart. go into the computer/electronics section of the store and look near the webcams. you should see some standing mics there.

i would recomend a logitech mic. these are good quality mics that mostly block any static and they tend to be cheep ( the one i have gets rid of static, makes your voice clear and it only cost me $10)

you can get a digital voice recorder from Sony.  You cal so find microphones at places like Curcite City and store like them.
