Where can I find Wi-Fi or internet access to use my laptop in San Juan, PR?

Question

I'm traveling to PR for 2 months and I'm having a hard time locating any Wi-Fi/internet access locations in the city. I have a T-Mobile Hot Spot account, but unfortunately it looks like the only Hot Spot location is at the Luis Munoz Marin airport in the American Airlines lounge, which clearly presents a problem.

I even checked for FedEx Kinko's locations and Starbucks locations which usually have wi-fi... nothing.

I'm willing to sign up for a monthly service (month to month) provided I can get to it easily. I'm not staying in a hotel in Old San Juan or El Condado. I'll actually be in the Caparra Terrace/Summit Hills/Pueblo Viejo area visiting family. I'm even willing to haul my laptop to Plaza Las Americas or San Patricio Plaza (which is way closer).

I really need to be able to get online while I'm on the island, besides using my BlackBerry, which might not even work down there. Thanks!

Ok. we have all the major service providers like Verizon Wireless (here called Claro) At&t, Sun Com. we dont have specifically T- Mobile.

but Puerto Rico Telephone have hundreths of Hot Spots, use this link and select the area you want to check for hot spots.

also the majority of Burger King in the island have BK WiFi free.

I dont know if all. but the majority of Starbucks cofee here in Puerto Rico have Wi-Fi acess.

I also think that Chilis also offers this services. in the San Juan i know two. The chilis in Plaza las Americas Mall in the Hato Rey area. and the Chilis in condado area. check. here are many hot spots. only you have to look for it.

Starbucks have wi-fi my friend would go there.

Universities

My cousin has wi-fi and gets a signal in the mountains so u shouldn't have problems.

maybe you should switch to to another company with more coverage.

I heard there is a couple of "internet cafe's" with Wi Fi around metropolitan area.
