Question:

Where can I find a B-17, B-24, or other WWII aircraft that is kept near Manhattan?

Besides the Intrepid Museum. Other museums are fine, just as long as I can get right up next to the plane. I prefer that the plane be in a place where it is kept outdoors and is easily photographed in natural outdoor light. Thanks!

  1. there is one that the EAA owns and they go around to country every year on a spring and a fall tour selling rides. its not stopping in NY on this fall tour but kept checking the site below- http://www.b17.org/tour/  


  2. Contact the Commemorative Air Force. Even if they don't have any near there, they probably know about any that are near there.
