Where can I find a Chef Salad ?

I live in a medium sized town, but can't find on menu's the Chef Salad that I was able to order 20 yrs ago that consisted of ham, turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, croutons, egg, carrot, etc.

The menu's on my local Applebee's, O'Charley's steakhouse, Longhorn steakhouse, Shoney's, and Frisch's, etc. do not offer what I used to know as a Chef Salad?

Any ideas ?

I know with some places now they do surveys where they ask you for any suggestions as to better service and food preperation you could mention that...if you want to make it for yourself you can google to find different websites to try to find something similar to what your looking for

I make it at home regularly...I think Chilis is advertising a new salad menu, try there, or Ruby Tuesdays has a fantastic salad bar, everything you need to assemble your own!
