Where can I find a book on how to play the acoustic guitar?

I have an acoustic guitar and I have no idea on how to play it. Does anyone know a good book to start with?

the complete guitar handbook is the best it will show you some basic chords to start with and then as you get better it will show you more complex scales and chords as well as showing the chords it also gives knowledge on theory so you can understand how chords are constructed the book has a blue cover with a picture of a Gibson guitar head stock on i think. i would also recommend learning how to read tab this is easy to read and getting some oasis tabs off the net  wonderwall is easy good luck and remember this if your fingers don't hurt then your not practising enough

youtube dude! just search "guitar lessons" and you will get all the videos you need.

a suggestion i would make is watching videos from this guy called Justin Sandercoe. just type in his name in youtube or go to JustinGuitar.com.

I would recommend "Essential Elements". I have used it, and it is a very good book to learn from. You can probably buy it at www.musiciansfriend.com or www.music123.com .
