I'm having this exact problem: I'm guessing your first two responders didn't read the dimension requirements. I have a carrier that fits the dimensions that specifies "not for airline travel" and I've seen several that come close and are soft-sided carriers- might be able to fudge that extra inch on the top... but none that are exact matches. Hope others will respond soon.
