Pretty much any "hole in the wall" "mom & pop" place in your town.

The market or farmers market if you can find one.  Eat healthy things.  Buy a package of organic salad greens.  Add a can of tuna/shrimp/hearts of palm or anything else you like, on your salad, dress as you like and eat.  most markets also have hot take out stuff too.  Try Wholefoods market if you live by one.

Try a diner, their menu's are usually pretty extensive and good value for money. I never had a bad meal at the Starlight Diner, but I don't know if there is one of those in your area, so try any local diner.

Ask friends and co workers to suggest good places for you. You can also check out your local phone book. Some include menus for restaurants.

This may sound weird but sometimes cafeterias are good, there's one at a local hospital is great, they get a bad name because some at school or work used to be bad, but try and see, it's changed. Cheap as fast food and way healthier and better variety.

Taco Time is surprisingly inexpensive, and tasty. But watch out for their foods with the packed on calories. My suggestion is the soft bean burrito. Filling, but with no empty calories.
