Where can I find a credit card machine that will work at a hotel?

I am conducting my book signing party at our local Hilton.

I want to be able to accept credit cards. So, I am looking for a

wireless credit card machine. Does anyone know where you can rent one for the day? What are the requirements? Thanks,

try opening a merchant account with PAYPAL or something else, that way you can manually type the credit card #'s on a web page via your wireless laptop, and it will do the realtime merchant processing.
