Where can I find a current deal on a 42" LCD flatscreen tv with 1080p resolution in Southern California?

Question

I have found a Phillips 42TA648BX at CostCo for $1200, but that TV is almost a year old in terms of shelf life, and was originally on promotion for just $1k.

If someone can point me in the direction of a good deal, I would really appreciate it. I'm looking at anything $1200 or under and it has to meet the specifications in the subject field.
