  1. This will sound ghetto, but I built a set by picking out random clubs at a used sporting goods store.  It's very satisfying if you beat one of you buddies that owns a $700 set.

  2. If you are willing to spend a little more you can get a set of replica clubs made that are just like the Ping or Taylor Made brands for a whole lot cheaper. The best place I have found to get them would be at your local golf course's club house.

  3. Go to Goldsmith, I saw a new set (Zevo) 3-pw for $79 or for additional $30 on your price range you can get the 12 pieces sets.

  4. check with a good club maker .if there is a golf Smith store in your area look for trade inns liar pro shops to trade in

  5. Good Will

  6. Try Craigslist.com - I've found some great deals on there, plus you're dealing with local people in your area.

  7. Try the goodwill store in your town.

  8. Sounds like you are just getting started in golf, or maybe you're looking to get a friend or family member started in golf and, quite wisely, do not want to spend a fortune on golf clubs only to find out that the game isn't really for you or them!

On the other hand, maybe you want a cheap used set of clubs (for under $120) that you can just go crazy with out on the course with funny club-bending or club-breaking antics when you get really frustrated (things you'd never do, or hope you'd never do, with a $600+ set of clubs)!

Whatever the reason, there are numerous places to look for cheap used golf clubs.

Online is the easiest, but be sure wherever you buy them from you get an inspection period so you can check them out first before finalizing the sale.  In person is best of all because you get to inspect the club heads, shafts, and grips for condition, and actually try the clubs by swinging and actually hitting a few shots.

Here are some ideas to find cheap used golf clubs:

    1. Local garage sales.

    2. Other golfers, either on the course or at the driving range or pro shops.  Many golfers switch out their clubs on a regular basis to get the latest and greatest.  You may just find a golfer ready and willing to sell for a bargain price as he/she is getting ready to purchase their brand new set of clubs.

    3. Local golf shops.

    4. Ask your friends, relatives, members of your church, and other members of any associations you belong to if they have an old set of clubs lying around unused, or if they know someone who might.

    3. Classified ads in your local paper.

    4. Craigs List:  CraigsList.org

    5. Free Cycle:  FreeCycle.org

    6. Online at various used golf gear websites.  I like AmazingGolfClubs.com which has tons of bargains on all kinds of used major name brands, like used Ping golf clubs.  You can also try big auction sites like eBay and specialty golf auction sites like golfclubexchange.com.

Best wishes and good luck in your hunt for decent golf clubs for under $120.

  9. I got mine at golfoutletsusa.com.  They make they own clubs and do not advertise much so they are cheaper.  Try them.

  10. rockbottomgolf.com thy have a sell on adams this week

  11. your best bet is used clubs.

    www.tradergolf.com

  12. Driving ranges that also sell clubs always have decent sets of used clubs for cheap. Buy your cheap clubs, but do yourself a favor and have them re-gripped, with nice grips.

  13. yard sales or ebay
