It is cheaper in this case if you could go from BUF.  Check out http://www.megabus.com which goes from Toronto to Buffalo Airport quite cheaply.  From BUF, I see seats available for $203 USD with USAir.com on the 28th.

If you go from YYZ, then I see $262 USD on the 28th, with USAir, Continental, and Delta.

I checked the 27th and 28th for you, and also checked from Hamilton (YHM), but the 2 above are cheapest options.

Sample fare $418.00 with US airways one way.  27th

$636.00 round trip from US airways on 27th

or if you can travel on jun 26.  its only $489 inclusive of taxes round trip.

I searched it using http://www.moneybulls.com/travels.htm with 50% off on last minute flights.
