Where can I find a door handle for a 1988 BMW 735i? along with other parts?

Specifically the front driver's side. If anyone knows where I could get chrome handles that would be great!

You can also try PelicanParts if you don't want to wait for a used part to be located. ebay sometimes lists parts from people's parts cars. In fact, some folks just do that, buy junk bimmers and dismantle them to sell their parts on ebay. Hit or miss situation but you can ultimately develop a relationship with a dismantler who favors your car model..

Junk yards have lots and lots of them the 750i has the same handle and I think the 5 series and maybe the 3 series.

www.bavauto.com has good new parts for Bimmer's.  I've used them a number of times for my 88 735iL.  Usually, if you have a local Car Quest, they also do very well.  They can get most of the same parts that are on Bavauto (Car Quest BMW parts usually come through World Pac), will match their price (or often beat it), and include free shipping.  I'd recommend new for any smaller parts like this which are noticable.  For larger components that are pricey I use Bavarian Auto Recyclers out of California.  www.usedbmwparts.com.  They have a 6 month guarantee on their parts (at least on the parts I've purchased from them).  

I've found Napa to be worthless, Auto Zone worthless, Champion worthless, and a lot of other smaller places worthless.  

CarQuest has been good to me.  

Some parts I've needed have had to come from a BMW dealership.  That's a pain and expensive... but if you need something you need something.
