Anyone know of a field that has wildflowers in the United States somewhere?

  1. During early spring the hill country of Texas is covered in Blue Bonnets, Indian Paint Brushes and many other wild flowers. My personal favorite is in the community of White Hall.

    Right now, the majority of the wild flowers have died out for the year. There are still a few roadside clumps here and there. But, nothing really spectacular.

  3. Pretty much alongside of every road in the countryside has flowers growing. They pretty much look like weeds, but that is exactly what wildflowers are. Other places to look would be any open fields or grassy (not lawn) type areas or alongside streams and vacant farm fields. If you live in a city, you may want to see if there is a botanical garden near by. Most of them have an exhibit of wild flowers and other plants which are indigenous to the area.
