Where can I find a florist in Central Texas that would carry liquid amber leaves in mid october?

Call "the daisy" in copperas cove, texas....they can get you anything you need....I helped build this place...I am in Florida now but from around Temple texas..and raised in Lampasas..This place does tuxedo rentals, even weddings from a raised balcony with a pump organ and the works..but they are well established and can get hard to find items..tell them Alton Sent ya...

Maybe I'm way off but have you seen a Japanese Maple? It might be a suitable replacement, and I know most nurseries in central Texas (i.e. San Antonio, Austin area) carry them.

Look in the phone book under wholesale florists for your area.    Call them and ask them if they will/can have them available.  Some wholesalers will sell directly to the public.  If not, ask them what florists order from them.  They should be happy to help you since they work on commission!  

If not, call a local florist, (not a grocery store flower shop) and ask them.  They will call the wholesaler for you!

If all else fails, wholesalers WILL sell to anyone with a tax ID number.  If you have a friend/relative that owns a business, have them set up an account!
