Where can I find a free site that will make me my own website?

Ok so I am trying to become an affiliate to make more money online. I know it works, But most of them you have to have your own website created first. Ive found alot of sites where you can make your own for free, but ive tried to make it and i just dont understand. so where can ifind a sit that will make me a site for free?

Believe it or not, Micosoft offers free websites and free domain names.  These sites are designed for business use, but can also be used for personal sites.

Signing up and building a site is pretty easy.  You also get to pick any website name you want (like yourname.com), as long as it's not already in use.

geocites works best, or gmail, dude they will advertise, and they'll tell u how to, like people will leave ur website for ever if it doens't catch tehy're eyes, nice photos, boldlines, updates, make it mroe social not so this and this and this sign here, and this agreement thing, both r great, but google page cereaoter's a little better i personilly think

freewebs? it depends on what kind of site you want to make. there's blogger, or blogspot, not sure which, for making blogs (much simpler than freewebs, which has layouts and multiple pages)
