Where can I find a full copy of the 9th grade Iowa test for my homeschooler without paying?

He wants to take the 9th grade Iowa Standardized test before he actually goes to take the real one. We don't need answers just the test questions. Can anyone direct me to an online resource that you DO NOT have to pay for?

There is none for the ITBS.  But you can use the Texas released tests, which are similar:

You can't.  Standardized tests like the ITBS, SAT, etc. are copyrighted to protect them from being used in this way.  If he's never taken a standardized test before, I would recommend either getting a test prep book (you can find these at just about any bookstore or teacher's store) or using one of the released TAKS tests from Texas (link in HSMom's answer).  Most "test prep" books have at least one practice test.

Is this an ethics course?   If so,  you both failed.

Well... techincally, that would be teaching to the test.  And it would invalidate the real test results for the actual test since the student has already seen a version of the test -- the student should be taking the test "cold" without any variables to change test results.  I have heard of schoolteachers being fired over these same actions.  I know of one SAT Test Prep (private company) here in North TX that is being sued/investigated over what you are suggesting. Companies are very strict with security and getting test books back to avoid what you are describing. Your request is sounding like a questionable method for preparing for a standardized test.
