Where can I find a good, cheap, portable? air conditioner for my apartment?

I live in an apartment that has ONE small air conditioner unit in the living room. It does a nice job at keeping the living room cool, but not the rest of the apartment.

My room, for example, is currently 93 degrees. I have a ton of fans, but they just blow around hot air.

I need some type of an air conditioner or unit that I can put in my room (or the LARGE window in my room) in order to cool this place down!

I am a college student, so money and spending as little as possible would be good.

We bought a A/C unit from Ace hardware for $85 and installed in in the window.  It has a remote and digital settings and keeps the room sooooo cold :)  Def a good investment.  Our elec bill only increased $10.  It has an energy saver mode and that is what we keep it on all day.

The best place to get the cheapest air condition would be cragslists or ebay.
