Where can I find a good restaurant in Pasadena to go to after my graduation?

I am looking for a good, inexpensive (main course about $15) restaurant in Pasadena, CA that has a nice variety on their menu? Preferrably a restaurant that accepts reservations because I don't want to go there on a Saturday night with about 25 people and we're waiting for hours outside to be seated. Any suggestions?

1. Just about any restaurant will make reservations for 25 and most will require it so don't try to walk in.

2. If you want a Saturday night, you might be too late to make a reservation.  Large graduation parties are common and they may not be able to accommodate you,  You might have to settle for Sunday or Monday.  

3. Be aware that many restaurants will automatically add the tip to the check so find out before you tip them twice.

Two restaurants I know of are California Pizza Kitchen but I don't know if they have a banquet room.  The other is Il Fornaio (high class Italian).  They do have many dishes in $15 area but most are $15 - $30 and up.  I haven't been in the Pasadena restaurant but all of the others do have a banquet room.

Since they do not have an established clientel yet, you might find something in the Americana at Brand in Glendale that is still taking reservations.

Factoring price and large group (accepts reservations) consider: (In the Old Town area...note: parking & traffic is tough on weekends)

Green Street Restaurant* (off of Lake, so. of Green St....great local restaurant; price    is good, only factor is the group of 25, they're always very busy).

(but prices average btwn. 13.00 to 20.00).
