I'm looking for a high quality sink...not the crappy thin steel on the cheaper end sinks.

  1. Try looking at

    http://www.mrdirectint.com

I purchased a sink from them a few months back.Their sinks are sturdy and high quality...plus they are very affordable.

I don't know much about quality of steel but they claim to use the "High Quality 304 Stainless Steel" and their sinks are 16/18 gauge. They also offer a limited lifetime warranty.

You didn't specify what kind of kitchen sink you might want to check out this double bowl model. The price is very cheap (~$80) too. The dimensions are: 32 1/4" x 18" x 8".

  2. try a restaurant supply/salvage store, google.com, or craigslist.com in your area.

  3. $108.00

Or go to a salvage place

  4. There is a company in Houston, Texas that salvages them from commercial buildings being demolished. OLSHAN    They have saved me money on lots of projects.

  5. There is a great website called siennasinks.com. They have 304 series 18/10 chromium nickel stainless steel sinks, which my granite guy told me was the best. They also have double bowls that are 18 gage steel for like $199. So I would try there. We had a good experience with them and they are really knowledgeable about stone counter tops

Hope this helps and good luck!

  6. You might try your local FREECYCLE.com site (if there is one) or a local used building materials recycler.  Good luck.
