Where can I find a hollow metal sphere, maybe cut in half?

I need a metal sphere that's hollow inside and maybe 4-6 inches in diameter. A sphere that could be cut in half, or more conveniently already is. Preferably softer metals like aluminum, not so much looking for iron or steel.

Maybe a kitchen supply store.  I am thinking of my wife's strainer.  It is about that size.
