Where can I find a hotel in venice located in or near piazza san marco?

We are a party of five, we are looking for a hotel most likely an apartment or annex to stay in for just one night, with resonable prices. Plz help

Use the Rick Steves guide book.  Whe I went to Venice I found a hotel in there that cute, clean, and cheep, it was also right aroung the corner from San Marco.  I forget the name but it was great.

In Venice you can't find to stay "with resonable prices".You can try in Mestre, a little city, very close from Venice.

Stay in Venice Mestre at the Golden Tulip hotel.  Best bang for your buck...  Great service, great rooms, and great breakfast!  Hotel is next to the train station that will take you right into Venice, the city, maybe a 10 minute ride.
