Where can I find a job in NYC? (17 years old)?

I have over a year's working experience and I have no idea where to find a job that will hire a 17 year old.

A lot of places hire 16+, so it might be easy for you. Try Barnes & Nobles and some clothing stores that may hire. It shouldn't be too hard for you to find one since you have a year or experience.

This is not the city for you then.  You would need a work permit at 17 to work but there are so many adults looking for work that I do not think much of your chances.  Stay where you are and finish school before trying to come here and get a job.
