Where can I find a job where they dont check background checks in Houston tx?

I went to jail for selling fake purses nothing really bad just trying to make a living but now I have a misdemeanour on that I just graduated from fire fighter academy and i cant work there untill 10 years and I'm EMT certified but meanwhile I want to work..

im having the same problem.. now a days every job seems to run one and wont hire u cus of a mistake u did when you were young and dumb (like me.. ) Im in the process of trying to find a job and just hoping they wont check my background in the meantime...

Usually the lower paying jobs, or look for small companies without HR departments. You might try some of the air conditioning companies and the like. People who need day labor don't do background checks generally.

Why do you want to work for a place that doesn't do background checks on its employees?  You want to be working next to a serial rapist or pedofile or drug dealer?  Or do you want them to do a background check on everyone but you?

you could try being honest...people like that...if you've made a mistake, you may not do it again...and you can prove yourself...somehow.

Fast food restaurant and family own business. Any corporate business will check for your background and some of them even check your financial background.
