Where can I find a king-sized sleigh bed from a company that will ship to Germany?

Question

I'm at an APO/FPO address, so it won't leave the American postal system. I don't want to get a European bed because I already have American king-sized mattresses and sheets. Most of the companies I've talked to so far only ship to the continental United States. The others have beds that look like Ikea's fiberboard furniture.

Help?

This website says they ship internationally:  http://www.eco-furniture.com.  What about Ikea?

They have a chain in Austria, shouldn't be too hard to ship to Germany, then.

You may want to look into a parcel forwarding company like Bongo International.  They will set you up with a US address so that you can buy from anywhere in the states.  Then, they will ship the items you buy to Germany at 50% off DHL's rates.  I don't know if they ship to APO's, though.  You may need to give them a specific address to deliver to.

If you're interested in buying something that will last, you might want to talk to someone at Stickley Audi & Co.  Their product is high end, so it is not inexpensive, however you'll be buying something that will last a lifetime.  They should be able to help put together the overseas shipping as well.  Good luck in your search
