Where can I find a lakefront campsite in a forest or park in South Carolina?

Planning my fall vacation now. Thanks in advance for all your advice. I'm looking for a place to camp and fish that's off the beaten path, preferably in the boonies.

go to S.C.State Parks online and look at Caesar's State Park it's beautiful- near Greenville. You could make it your homebase & daytrip to several other lakes around there

depends on where you live you can go to Lake Marion and find many places or look along Santee towards manning
