Where can I find a language class in my area?

You see, my stupid high school offers only spanish since I live in the LA area and they think it is most important. What a bunch of bull. Anyway, I wish to study another language, probably Japanese or Chinese, and I dont know where to go. I've check with the community education classes but they only offer Italian and French. Can someone recomended me where to go or at least where to look for a tutor or something?

I would suggest you use a phone book/computer to find all the colleges that are within your commuting distance.  Then call each college, or view their web site to see if they offer the classes you want to take.
