Where can I find a listing of businesses in Port charlotte?

Assuming they are members of the Chamber of Commerce that is one way.  The other way is you can file a FOIA request with y our county and/or the city for them to tell you who has registered business in the city.  You can also go to the State tax office and file a FOIA request for all those that are registered in the state.

The fallacy of all of this, is that there is no one jurisdiction that covers it all and is current.  The closest is the state who can give you a listing of all the companies that they have given a tax exempt form to and who has registered with them.
