Question:

Where can I find a mobile to soothe my baby that I don't have to wind up?

My baby LOVES his mobile and it helps put him to sleep but I can't stand running down the hall every 2 minutes to keep winding it. Any suggestions on what to do? Do they even make mobiles that run with an on/off switch? Thanks in advance.

  1. They have lots of them!

They even make some with remotes so that you can start them back up again and you don't have to go in the room and disturb baby!

I bought the Rainforest one with baby #2...it was around $35.  He never took an interest in it, though.  He'd rather be snuggled to sleep :)

Give me a second and I'll get you a link so you can buy one.

    Here's the one I have:

You can just do a search in the babiesrus site for "mobile" and you'll get lots of choices.

  2. Hi, I have a FisherPrice Rainforest mobile and it has an on off switch so you dont have to wind it up and my favorite thing about it is that it comes with a remote! lol  Seriously, its a really cool feature to have if you want to let your baby lay in his crib and you can be in the next room and turn the mobile on and off as you need to. It also has different classical music features and other animal and rain noise...I highly recommend it! My little boy just loves his!

  3. I have the rainforest mobile. I love it.

  4. My son is 11 months old and still loves his Fisher Price Ocean Wonders mobile.  It runs on batteries and has about a 10-15 minute cycle...it even comes with a remote so you can turn it back on from the doorway once it has shut off.  It also projects a sort of light show on the ceiling which is very nice in a darkened room.
