Where can I find a peice of aluminum siding that matchs the rest of the house?

My husband does handyman work & he has been driving around looking for siding to replace a few peices that are missing on this homeowners house. Is there a website or something we just don't know about. He has spent so much money driving to places to find siding to match that he has to find a better way. Besides he hasn't found it. How to people match siding?

By attempting to find out where the old siding was bought or manufactured and contacting them. Also Lowe's and Home Depot.Another option is to look in dumps where such items are sent to. It's a daunting task and I wish him good luck

Did he try looking at Lowes or Home Depot?  That's a good place to start. If they don't have it, have him ask an employee where he can purchase the piece he needs.

Sometimes, it can't be done, when the maker is out of business. One alternative is if there is an out of the way part of the exterior or a place where a different pattern wouldn't be noticed, to take from there and replace with whatever is close.
