Where can I find a place to donate baked goods locally?

  1. Homeless shelters, or often churches open their doors late in the evening at 10pm to allow people to sleep there.  There is usually a listing in local newspapers that contains volunteer listings, etc...

    You can also bring baked goods to a senior citizen's home - but I would check on their policy first about receiving baked goods that are not store bought (if you're planning to bake).


  2. Go to a local charity thrift shop and ask them if there are any refuges in the area. These places are filled with kids who probably have rarely had a home baked cake or pastry and it would be miraculous to them to get this. You can also call the Senior Citizens Association in your area and find out if there are needy elderly people or a Retirement Home where many people do not have families to visit and bring them treats like that.

  3. Try a homeless shelter or an elderly home.
