Where can I find a really cheap house in Utah or Ohio?

My budget is about 300$

How much is it to live in those low income houses?

where is it easier to find such a house, in Utah or Ohio?

I would search the classified ads for the areas and find someone in need of a roommate so you can split the rent.   Otherwise, I don't know anyone renting a house for $300.

Utah and Ohio are big places.  Prices vary considerably by region.  Do you want to live in a big city or out in the boonies?

Im from Cincinnati, Ohio. The UC campus is located in Clifton and housing in that area is expensive although its not really nice because of the school. Just outside of clifton there is a neighborhood called Camp Washington... it is a low income neighborhood (industrial district) you could find a small 1 bedroom there for $300 and your only a couple miles from school, which you could bike or your right on the busline. There is also the price hill and western hills area that is a little further away (10 min drive) and those are also cheaper areas to live and on the busline

its also very common in the Clifton area for 4-5 students to rent a house together and share bills

$300 dollars for a house...you must be kidding...that won't cover and APARTMENT in most cities.

How about you see a realestate company and ask THEM.
