I assume you mean a unit for connecting a turntable to an amplifier with no PHONO input right? I see that you were asking about turntables in another question..

In any case The Source (formerly Radio Shack in Canada) carries a model. These are a bit overpriced but these things are not that easy to come by anymore, other than by eBay perhaps as someone else has suggested. I've included a link below to the Source web page for the preamp in question.

You could use any AVR that has 6 or 8 external outputs. If you want a real preamp/prepro brand new you could look at Emotiva or Outlaw Audio. They are fairly budget minded. Really it depends on the capabilities you want. What inputs do you require (eg: HDMI)?
