Where can I find a rear disk brake mount for my mountain bike?

I have a Specialized Stumpjumper from '99 that doesn't have a rear disk brake mount. Is there some sort of adapter that I can buy so that I can add a disk brake to the rear wheel? I have looked into the A2Z mount but it doesn't work with Specialized bikes.

  1. Try brake therapy.

You may want to consider getting a new bike. You have a 9 year old bike. There is A LOT of new technology out there. And when you consider how worn out your bike could be... You may end up with a broken frame if you add the stress of a disc brake mount. You have got to have bushing ware and worn parts, how are your wheels? I would recommend putting that money towards a new bike.
