My boyfriend and I drink tons of pop and we just throw the cans away. Do recycling centers still pay for pop cans? If so, where can I find one that does? I live in Columbus OH if you need something specific.

  1. My Kroger store (King Soopers in Colorado) accepts plastic bags full of squashed pop cans and pays by weight.  I got about $5 for a big black garbage bag a while back.  You might want to check with your grocery store...good luck!

  2. Im in CT and around here all of the grocery stores have machines to recycle soda cans.  They give you 5 cents per can.

  3. If you put in your zip code/city at the search at earth911.org, it will give you a list. :)

Or I can just search it for you:

  4. I used to live in Columbus, right off of Pacemont and N. High

  5. Usualy they will only take the cans if you have a butt load of them. But you could try yellowpages.com and search for recycling centers in Columbus.
