I don't mean actually speaking with someone. Ideally somewhere I could just read conversations in german about everyday things in everyday german. I can already speak school german pretty well I just want to be able to speak like a native.

  1. Ummh... I think you could go to Speak7.com then click on "German". I am learning Italian on that same Web Site and it is very helpful. At the beginning of some lessons they show  some conversations.

  2. Suscribe to a special Channel on Youtube - where you get a series of videos spoken by a german native (including motivating music) - There you learn more than only everyday conversation: you hear and see how the phrases are pronounced and written. See source below.

  3. In the states:

    ao  California Staats-Zeitung

    wallstreet-online.de   forum

  4. There is Radio Chin (in german). It's an hour a day, everyday, here in Toronto. Look for something like that in your place. You will learn to 'hear' fast speaking german, very educated and actual. They should play music also and you can translate as you listen; very good excersice.

Contact the German Answers. I'll do the same.

  5. do you have a channel on tv that plays foreign news and programs? you should be able to find german news. also these stations often have programs for learning the language, where the whole episode is in that language. hope it helps.

  6. reverso.net
