Where can I find a ring similar to this for less?

My boyfriend (now fiance) have recently decided to get married. I am looking for a simple engagement ring (we picked out the style we like, now we are trying to find the best deal) I need to find a solitare, preferably not less than 1/5 ct. And I am looking for an enhancer like this one:

Anyone know where I can find either of these items for a small budget? We were hoping to spend no more than $1000 on my solitare, enhancer, and his band. Please help!

  2. If you live in LA.. (or close by) Downtown is packed with jewelry shops that will cut you excellent deals, especially if you pay cash!

  3. Try here http://www.jamesallen.com/wedding-and-an...

May I suggest you just start looking at wedding ring sets, then you know the fit between the rings is just right and they will match.

Your set and his band are totally doable on the budget you have.

  5. Go to the store and see if they can cut you a deal.  Things are always on sale at jewelry stores.  You never pay sticker price.

  6. try this website

  7. I would suggest looking at Walmart. They have some good deals on their jewelry.

Target also has some great deals on their rings as well - it all depends on what you want to - white gold, yellow gold; princess cut, round cut, etc.

As for the enhancer - I would wait until you get your engagement ring; then you can shop for the enhancer. I think it is best to try the two of them on together.

  8. target meijer walmart

  9. Dear,

try the shops in this page particularly James.

    http://123diamond.co.uk/Online_diamond_s...

You can get half a carat Princess diamond certified by GIA ( the best) H/VS2 mounted on an 18 K white gold solitaire for around a 1000$ which is nothing compared to local jewelers selling the same diamond. You can also find on the same website Discount coupons which will make it suit you budget as much as possible. If you want smaller diamonds you will find there,James is a professional diamond wholeseller and they stock more than 55000 certified diamonds and have really good plicies.

Am sure you will be pleased..

    Hope I helped you a bit & congratulations :)

  10. try going to jessups

    or a pawn shop

and show them a picture of the ring you like they may be able to help you get a similar one

  11. Have you tried Wal-Mart?

  12. Well...I've never had any luck with quality and buying from Walmart...but, every walmart and every piece of jewelry is different.  Look at the quality closely though.

Check outlet malls.  Zales has a 70% off deal going right now too anyway.  Maybe your piece is discounted?

I like jtv.com personally...not sure if I'd buy a solitaire from them sicne they don't generlaly provide "ratings' for their diamonds...but never had a bad experience with them, even if I DID choose to return something.

Goldenmine is great..I've bought from them before with no complaints.

Check ebay stores....  You might want to consider NOT using diamonds...sapphires, rubies, moissanite, zircon, and even CZ are great more economical options.

The Events Planning page of http://www.ForMemoriesSake.com has some jewelry links that look great.

  13. If your like me and want a ridiculas ring...wait to buy it and by something really cheap and small for now. ANd when you get the money buy what you REALLY want.

  14. We bought my husband's ring from this website:

    http://www.titaniumera.com/

But if you get a thicker band, I would suggest getting it a half size to a full size smaller.  For some reason, the thicker band makes the ring too big if you get your regular size.

As far as YOUR ring, try going into the store, rather than online.  You might want to try financing your ring if need be.  Or, like everyone else said, you can try Wal-Mart or Target, too.  Maybe even eBay.

  15. Pawn and resale shops are a good place to check. People sell things there and you always get great deals.

Good Luck, hope this helps, and congrats on getting married!

  16. Ice or Wal-Mart. My engagement ring came from the latter. They have very nice quality, and some of the same diamond mines as Tiffany's.
